Tsunami Village
Tsunami Village is an idyllic tourist resort located in the south-eastern coast of Zanzibar, at Bwejuu.
The complete stillness of the village makes it at one with nature. The resort is literally dotted with palms, exotic plants and flowers.

Location
Bwejuu is one of the major of Zanzibar.
Paje and Jambiani, the other two main touristic spots of the south-eastern coast, are at only 6km and 12km to the south of Bwejuu.
The airport of Zanzibar is located along the western coast of Unguja. A transfer will be at your disposal to take you to the resort.
The Village
Our village includes a panoramic restaurant, a bar, a sun-drenched swimming pool, a massage room and our beloved kite centre.
The resort consists of 10 deluxe bungalows that are the best choice both for couples and families or groups of friends since all rooms include a king size bed and, upon request, they can be equipped with two more beds.
Our first-class sorroundings
There are so many things you can do in Tsunami Village and in Zanzibar.
You can relax in our swimming pool and lying in the sun; you will be able to learn kitesurf or take a trip to the beautiful Mnemba Island or to the heavenly Nakupenda Beach or again to the famed Prison Island. One excursion you can’t miss out is the spicy tour in Stone Town.
The activities you can do here are pretty endless.
Rooms
In our deluxe rooms you will breathe the African atmosphere of Zanzibar.
The bed is covered with the traditional Tanzanian mosquito nets. From the inside you will experience the comfort of these nets and you will never regret your holiday’s choice!
Bar
Eat, drink, kite, repeat. This is our daily routine here at Tsunami Village.
After a long day strolling around the streets in Stone Town, the best moment of the day is when you can finally relax, drink a Tequila Sunrise or a local Dawa and think about your day, what you have seen and what you have learned; the moment in which you feel satisfied and joyful.
Restaurant
The seaview restaurant is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Our dishes are totally homemade. The menu includes Italian food and local Swahili dishes like the yummy Samosa, the Kachori, the Chapati rolls and the delicious Mandazi.
Breakfast is included in the reservation of the room. You can have fruits, the traditional Italian breakfast or the classic European breakfast.
Kitesurf schools
Zanzibar is famed all over the world to be the paradise for kitesurfers. The wind is the kind you have always been looking for and the waves are great too.
At Tsunami Kite school you can start your lessons as a beginner or you can have an advanced course with our IKO instructors.
If you know how to kite but you don’t have the equipment you can rent what you want by us.
Our storage will be at your disposal if you already have your gear.
Dive Center
Our Dive center is managed by Walter Trinca. He is well know in Zanzibar because he have been diving on the island for the last 10 years. Also, we have a good mix of national and international instructors and divemasters. All PADI professionals and have a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with you.
We have daily excursions with our boats, mainly to our infront reef in Bwejuu, a virgin coral full of underwater creatures and untouched marine biodiversity.
Also, we go to Mnenmba Atoll and Kizmkazi by request.

Tsunami Village the place to be!
I spent one week in Tsunami Village with my wife and we had a memorable experience! The place is set in a fantastic position, away from hustling beach boys. The huts are spot clean and the staff made us feel home every day…let alone the managers who have been greatly supportive for all of our requests, from organizing excursions to scooter rental! We just can’t wait to go back again!
